Day before yesterday,  Mon Apr 27th, 2009, I passed my final oral exam and received my Foundations in Hypnotherapy certification!

While none of my actual problems are solved yet, it’s still been a wonderful journey further into the amazing world of hypnosis. I’m still getting kicked in the butt left and right by life but the difference is, I KNOW I can begin kicking back. Life doesn’t have to be living me, life doesn’t have to be living YOU. WE are supposed to live life and not vice versa.

That said, I’m a firm believer that some obstacles are put in our way as teaching tools. If life was a walk in the park, what the hell have we learned? We learn from our mistakes and the negatives that land in our way. But sometimes you just gotta realize when a vicious cycle is set firmly in place in your life. If nothing is working and you’re exhausted from the failed attempts, take another route, this one is obviously a dead end. For me anyway hypnosis is that path. And not ONLY for my own life issues.

Also as of day before yesterday, I became an advanced student at HMI!!!

Though I’m hoping to find a way to afford the tuition that allows for sooner completion, at the very latest, in one year I’ll be a certified hypnotherapist. LICENSED as such. It’s a wonderfully exciting prospect that it still amazes me as to how quickly it has become my main goal and direction in life.

Now to just quiet the restlesss NOISY natives around me and get some peace. I think I need to see my love for a while. I wish he had more interest in this and I felt like I’m able to verbally discuss what I’ve learned … but I do think I need to change my environment for a bit. There’s some crucial changes I need to make that just can’t happen in this chaos.

But hooray! Both my best friend and I are now Foundations certified and moving forward!
